He proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Jerry was an Electronic Technician for Sperry Univac for 15 years. He then went on to work as a sales associate for both K-Mart and Home Depot in Broomall for many years.
Jerry enjoyed music and playing the guitar.
He is survived by his brother, John A. Aperghis and his wife Karen of Glenmoore.
