Saturday morning/afternoon, October 15th: For those who are not golfing, you are on your own to explore local attractions. There are so many wonderful things to do in the vicinity of Mendenhall, and fall in Chester County is simply radiant. We guarantee you won’t be bored!

Some of you might enjoy spending the day wandering around Kennett Square (the mushroom capitol of the USA) or West Chester. They both have nice restaurants for lunch and are both famous for being very charming, quaint Chester County towns.

(Don't get too pooped if you decide to do this activity-- Longwood Gardens is a 4-5 hour walking experience.)

Brandywine Valley Wine Trail
Some of the wineries in the area charge an admission fee-- especially if they are providing entertainment. (In October, wineries and tasting rooms along the trail will be highlighting art with a theme of Harvest in their tasting rooms. Culinary events and artisan food will be featured.)
