I received this information from Brad Cunningham regarding the passing of his friend Jack Athey, UDHS Class of 1966:
John (Jack) Athey’s wife, Kathy, told me that Jack passed away on December 30, 2020, from Pancreatic Cancer. We were really sorry to hear that another one of our UDHS ’66 grads passed away. Jack was a really great guy and he Retired from the Post Office. He originally lived in Primos and married Kathy and moved to Clifton Heights. I saw Jack and his wife several times when I came up to Upper Darby for a visit. It was great seeing an old UDHS buddy, and I’m glad I stopped in and saw Jack and Kathy.
