So sad to hear of Mitchell's passing. When my family moved back to Drexel Hill after several years in Los Angeles our first home was just around the corner from Mitch's. He and I were in the same 6th grade class at Hillcrest Elementary when we moved back, and we became good friends. Rest in peace my friend.
Mitchell's obituary is great reading! He's quite a guy. We were in classes together at Hillcrest, lived near each other, had many play dates, and drove our teachers crazy with our interest in rockets and satelites (this was the 50s' sputnik, space race era). Sadly, last time we talked was a walk home together from UDHS after a pre-graduation club bus trip to DC. We each speculated about where ouir lives would take us next. He certainly had an interesting one.
